Screen Print Packaging
Screen printing is most cost effective in printing large quantites of one or two colours (as one screen is applied for each colour). It can also be the best option for printing solid colours or varnishes.
What is screen printing?
Screen printing has advanced from the traditional hand art form of passing ink through a mesh or screen that has been stretched onto a frame, with stencils applyed to determine the image. Screen printing machines are now fully automated but the same printing principle remains. Sadly a dying art, but screen printing still has it's advantages today for certain styles of print in retail packaging.
